When Rogers Small Business Centre asked if I wanted to be part of their Small Business Speaker Series I jumped at the chance. Edmonton, of course (and thankfully), was on their list of event locations.
Did you know that in June 2016, the Government of Canada reported that there are 165,792 small businesses in Edmonton? Our small business community is thriving! But, look at this stat:
46% of all Canadian businesses use social media to promote their company.
Social media marketing, while not what it used to be, is necessary for growing businesses and is an essential part of an overall marketing strategy and plan. I’m happy to be helping businesses in Edmonton with their social media marketing via Rogers Communications! I’ll be talking about creating and curating content that converts, a struggle I find is always at the top of the list for clients when it comes to marketing their Edmonton business on social media.
